Gancedo: Collections of its International Firms

Gancedo has presented the textile collections of its most emblematic international firms and adding to its catalogue two more exclusive representations: Fabricut, an American company with more than 60 years, which is one of the world’s major textile distributors, and LightCube Wallcovering, a Japanese firm of printed wallpapers with a wide variety of contemporary collections.SANDERSON – Woodland WalkThe Spring collection of 2016 of patterns, embroideries and printed wallpapers of Sanderson is inspired in the British fondness of taking walks in the forest and in the wildlife of the area. The fabrics are natural and the designs have been drawn by hand or painted, with a country style sophisticated and modern. The collection is conformed by eight patterns, four embroideries, eight painted wallpapers, a plain fabric texturised in twenty four colours inspired by nature and a book of linen with an organic touch.SANDERSON – SojournThe Sojourn collection of Sanderson evoques an English style, the spirit of the adventure travels. The graphic elements and tribal designs are combined with smooth and elegant organic forms. The dynamical palettes of colour go from magenta to blue-green and indigo, and running through earth tones and neutral. Sojourn is a celebration of textiles: from patterns to kilims, suzanis, cashmere, embroideries, velvets and wool. An imaginative and vibrant collection which incarnates the tendency of blending drawings, textures and colours.LIBERTY – The Chesham Cabinet CollectionThe Chesham Cabinet Collection is a collection of textiles and painted wallpapers inspired in the curious doll’s houses original from the XVII to the XIX century. The design team of Liberty was inspired by a doll’s house from the British empire, similar to those sold in one of the two original Liberty stores, in the decade of 1880. This cabinet was “reconstructed” to make a doll’s house and used to create 13 new designs of Liberty, available in a selection of different combinations of colours and textures, bringing life to the magical and beautiful world of miniature design. Each one of the new designs combines characteristics from one of the rooms of the doll’s house.VOYAGE – MyanmarThe collection of Voyage is inspired by the popular Scandinavian style, and creates a world of fantasy which includes lots of birds, fruits and flowers. The style of the painting is bold, with a funny touch in the detail and the content, using an abundant palette of colours which depicts the richness and personality of this collection. The texture is used to obtain the maximum effect, jacquard velvets in jewel-like colours in geometrical forms and luxurious silks are embellished with an impressive result, the broideries possess intricate combinations of stitches of different styles. On the other hand, the silks in plain colours, serve as the perfect contrast.VOYAGE – AlchemyDrawn by hand and painted by the team of Voyage, the collection has got more than 30 unique designs in various luxurious finishes, textures and colours. Alchemy finds inspiration in the mystical elements of nature: from fallen leaves to frozen waterfalls and in mother-of-pearl. A collection which emanates elegance and luxury: shades of blue and green are blended with shiny metallic shades, finished with sequins and embroidered details.ROBERT ALLEN – Drenched ColorThe American firm Robert Allen presents Drenched Color, a collage of color packed with red and blue shades, influenced by the intense and saturated shades that are obtained through natural dyeing processes, like batik. The collection is inspired in the colours of organic materials, such as berries, barks or roots. The motifs used are of global inspiration- such as ikat or the ogee arches- , of geometrical influence- like the lattices and the zig-zag-, all under the common denominator of bright colours and natural beauty.IAN MANKIN – Britannia With Britannia, Ian Mankin adds to its classic palette of colours, a dark navy blue. This collection brings new designs and other classics with renovated colours, to create a range of marines, reds and natural shades easy to combine. All textiles in Lancashire, the stripes, squares and plain come in a wide variety of weights and fabrics, from natural cotton to linen fibres, all suitable for tapestry, curtains, pillows and blinds.Moreover, Gancedo incorporates to its catalogue of international firms, two new brands:   FABRICUT: With more than 60 years of history, this American company is one of the largest textile distributors in the world. Fabricut offers a variety of traditional and contemporary styles, a great availability of designs and colours, and more than 58.000 references in textiles and trimming which offer infinite possibilities for the interior design. LIGHTCUBE WALLCOVERING: Is a Japanese firm of painted wallpapers founded in 2001 by Haruna Hayashi and Juna Kimura. Its collections are very diverse and extremely special: they have papers painted by hand and sophisticated complements. The designs are contemporary, inspired in the fashion world, art and architecture. The textures of the papers, are at times brilliant and eye-catching, and at times they use silk warps, aluminium, gold or silver, over a base of painted paper.
