This is the result of the partnership between Trench Studio and Gancedo

Gancedo entrusted the transformation of their new showroom entrance at Pau Claris 115, Barcelona to Trenchs Studio. The studio was granted carte blanche to develop a unique repurposing, embodied in a versatile pattern which transcends its initial application. Ideal for wallpaper, but equally suitable for rugs and fabrics, this design reflects the boundless creativity that characterises both the textile editor and the team of interior designers and creative minds led by Ricard Trenchs.

Striped pattern

El equipo de Trench Studio partió de algo tan sencillo como las líneas, pero al jugar con el color, el grosor, la posición y la orientación, ha logrado darle una vuelta más fresca y atrevida. El resultado es "Camins", una colección cápsula de papeles pintados con cuatro diseños únicos, cada uno con un color predominante y líneas en dos tonos. La paleta cromática sigue las últimas tendencias, con tonos brillantes y saturados que aportan un toque vibrante y lleno de energía a cualquier ambiente. 

The Trench Studio team started off with something as simple as lines, but by tweaking colour, thickness, position and orientation succeeded in giving it a fresher, bolder turn. The result is “Camins”, a capsule collection of wallpapers with four unique designs, each one featuring a predominant colour and lines in two tones. The colour palette follows the latest trends, with brilliantly saturated tones that add a vibrant vivacious touch to any atmosphere.

“We decided to go for wallpaper production. Physically, it’s the product which best allowed us to fill the space that Gancedo had invited us to repurpose”, Trench Studio tells us.

After several trial prints and a process of experimentation with the final product, “Camins” emerged, a product which showcases the capacity of Gancedo to create customized designs.

The colour palette

Colour is one of the key elements in Trenchs Studio output. Throughout the creative process, there was heightened awareness of how colours affect our state of mind, leading to the choice of intense characterful tones.

Cherry red, alpine green, ice cream pistachio green, and white combine to create a palette which not only draws the eye, but also conveys a uniquely dynamic vibe.

The special feature of Trenchs Studio wallpaper design lies in its versatility and ease of installation. Not having rapport, it can be placed at will, without worrying about patterns having to match up, which eliminates the risk of wasting material. It does not require complicated instructions since it is designed so that on cutting and matching strips, the composition always looks balanced. What’s more, it can be turned through 180° and it will still look perfect in any position. “Camins” is a TNT wallpaper measuring 0.50 x 10 metres, designed to offer the experience of simple assembly and impeccable finish.
