These fabrics and upholstery materials made from recycled fibres are every bit as elegant, sophisticated and up to date as traditional ones. Blend in velvet upholstery

Furniture upholstered in velvet always implies warmth and comfort. That’s why, year after year, this fabric is the leading on-trend material. And that’s not the only reason: it always adds that elegant je-ne-sais-quoi to the décor and makes spaces feel cosier and more attractive. You’ll find it in a rich array of colours. So, you must decide whether you want to stick to the predominant colour palette of the décor or prefer to break with it and put in a contrasting colour.

The Climate Colors collection by Gancedo comprises 10 different fabrics including the IMPRINT and BREEZE velvets, with a light, elegant sheen. Woven from 100% PET bottles. In any case, remember that mixing and matching differently coloured cushions with neutrally coloured upholstery is an effective way of livening up your living area and adding a touch of character to your space. To heighten visual interest without being overwhelming, choose cushions in shades that contrast subtly with the upholstery. For example, if your sofa is in an ecru tone, you can go for cushions in soft shades, like light blue, pale green or muted burgundy.
