Hotel Palacio Santa Clara

Our textile knowledge at the service of a century-old modernist hotel

This modernist jewel from 1916, designed by the architect Francisco Javier Görlich, maintains its original aesthetic under a renewed air. Plant motifs, curved lines and textures, among other elements, make up the essence of this hotel which aims to combine design and comfort. A unique and welcoming space in which details take centre stage. The way the interiors complement and enhance this style is an example of how Gancedo’s textile experience rises to the most complex challenges.

In the common areas, wallpapers and velvets from Morris and Co., distributed by Gancedo, accompany the vintage aesthetic predominant throughout the complex. Chiffon velvets in earthy, grey or blue tones on armchairs and sofas stand out against colourful and contemporary rugs. A love of detail can be seen in the shoe-removing chairs upholstered in Damascus fabric from Gancedo’s Versalles collection and in the trimmings adorning the lampshades, coordinating perfectly with the studied decoration present in every corner of this delightful palace.
