Blackthorn, designed for wallpaper by JH Dearle in 1892, was first adapted for machine-printed fabrics in 1975 by Sanderson. Now, Blackthorn Weave presents a richly woven design for interiors and exteriors. The intricate and fascinating texture of the weave plays with different levels of colour. The edging of the flowers adds texture to the blooms and allows for variation between the floral display and the tranquillity of the leaves. Rich, archival colours are combined with softer, diffused tones in three wonderful colour palettes.
