Founded in Venice in 1875, Luigi Bevilacqua has the oldest European loom still in operation today. In it, natural silk velvets are made, hand-woven with the same techniques and level of quality that the Duxes of the Venetian Republic demanded at that time. Today, they combine historical methods and designs - their archive contains more than 3,500 drawings - with a touch of modernity.
