Yes, you read that right, or in other words: fabrics that are not what they seem.   Cotton or vegetable fibres? Polyester or linen? Velvet or colt skin? At Gancedo, in addition to textile collections that mimic other materials, we have textures that mimic fabrics that do not. Undoubtedly, a sign that our strength is the quality and originality of fabrics.

Fabrics imitating plant fibres

    Designed with the signature of the interior designer Serge Castella, the Port Lligat collection plunges into the depths of the landscape of the Costa Brava through fabrics that mimic the Esparto grass and wattle perfectly. The Cañas and Esparto models, two very unique fabrics that mimic these natural fibres with such precision that you have to touch them to check that they have the soft and pleasant touch of cotton.

Flame retardant fabrics that look like linen

  Sakura is a collection designed especially for the contract market: flame retardant, washable and highly abrasion resistant fabrics, so it can be used in contract. Made with fibres that mimic linen almost perfectly, something that so far has not been achieved in a polyester or acrylic. And its touch is especially pleasant. Designs inspired by nature and Japanese clothing, in blue, green, coral, natural... all colors on a beige background. Thanks to technology, it is a fabric that looks and feels like linen (a natural and tasteful fibre) but is actually made ​​of Polyester FR.

    Our Future collection consists of several metallic printed velvets reproducing the appearance of iron plates, oxide, marbles... have a width of 1.40 m and are suitable fabrics for curtains and upholstery.

    With a sophisticated and modern design, The wall is our tribute to the fall of the Berlin Wall: fabrics with a pattern inspired by a rickety wall in the old town of any city.   In our Passion collection you find bright and textured velvets that mimic the skin of a colt. It is a flame retardant  fabric, very resistant to wear and washing, which is available in 14 different colours. It measures 1.40 m wide and is perfect for curtains and upholstery.     The interior designer Manuel Espejo chose the fabric Chocolate Passion to upholster sofas and coat the walls of his "Loft in Love", the space screened at Casa Decor Madrid 2015. The combination of this tone with turquoise painted fronts was a success.   Appearances can be deceiving! As you see, these innovative Gancedo collections have many decorative possibilities.
